OVERVIEW
Building a reusable design system that helps both the brands' internal design team and development teams to stay consistent and scale across their multiple healthcare products.
TARGET AUDIENCE
Medical health professionals across Asia who are looking to network and manage information
VISUAL LANGUAGE
Setting up a design system
The purpose of the design system was to help the client scale the design language we set to multiple products in the future.
Using an Atomic approach to mapping design components
By auditing the product, we identified patterns in the UI to help us create a design system focusing on existing components and the ability for designers to scale the system further, on introducing newer components in future products. We defined everything from the base level components all the way to complex templates.
Defining the Development specs
We made sure to define the development specs early on, to ensure consistency and collaboration within the design, product and engineering teams
Setting up resuable components
We made sure to adapt instances of components for different use cases that arose in the product, thereby ensuring same set of components and guidelines across teams, for better understanding and smoother workflow.

OVERVIEW
We established a design language for Docquity, and thereby helped their team collaborate more cohesively on building and scaling future products, as well helping the app users (medical professionals) navigate within different products in a more intuitive manner.
